Sandhill Grass
The Sandhill Cane-grass also known as Zygochloa Paradoxa, its one of the Simpson Desert plants. It looks like a shaggy bush with little flowers on the tips. This plant is located and grows in the Simpson Desert. The Sandhill Cane-grass grows in sand. The plant is supported by an annual rainfall and has long roots in case of loss of water of soil.
Mitchell Grass
The Mitchell grass also known as Astrebla Elymoides, its one of the many few types of plants that live in the Simpson Desert. This plant can grow up to 11 and a half feet (height). It is able to change colour during seasons and, it is also very thin and flexible. Its located in the Simpson Desert and grows on the outer edges of the desert. The plant grows in moist soil near water-ways. The plant survives from the water that is coming down the near by water-ways.
Blackseed Samphire
The Blackseed Samphire could also be known as Tecticornia Pergranulata, its one type of plant that lives in the Simpson Desert. It is a small and rounded long shape, also it is a green type of colour. The Blackseed Samphire is located in the Simpson Desert. It grows on dunes and needs alkaline and saline soil to grow in. The plant waits for water because it knows when there will be an annual rainfall.
